Cheung thrills fans at concert

KUALA LUMPUR: Some 30,000 screaming fans were treated to a dazzling performance by Hong Kong superstar Jacky Cheung at the Bukit Jalil Stadium last night.

Despite the rain, Cheung’s fans sat through the four-hour concert as the "Heavenly King" belted out 61 numbers.

The concert was part of the singer/actor’s "The Year of Jacky Cheung World Tour 07".

Cheung has a wide fan base throughout the world, including Malaysia. But his fans here have not had a chance to see him in a live show for two years.

Other stops on his world tour are the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, China, Macau, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan and Taiwan.
  Tickets for last night’s concert were sold out, with many fans turned away. For those who managed to make it, they got the best from Cheung.
